Joe Chandler has served as our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since June 2018.  Mr. Chandler has over 27 years of oil and gas experience, holding multiple senior leadership and executive roles in Houston and internationally. Prior to joining the Yellowjacket team, he managed his personal investments, including serving as the President of Independent Pipe Services, and was the Global Vice President for ITS, a Parker Drilling Company, until April 2014.  From January 2003 until April 2013, Mr. Chandler held leadership roles of increasing responsibility at ITS Energy Services.  During his time at ITS, he served as the General Manager – Latin America in Venezuela, Vice President of North America & Latin America, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer in AberdeenHe also served on the Board of Directors of ITS. Mr. Chandler was a General Manager/Sales Manager with Weatherford in Venezuela from January 2000 to January 2003. Mr. Chandler holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin’s Red McCombs School of Business, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and the New Mexico Military Institute.

Sam Edwards has served as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) since January 2021. Mr. Edwards has over 35 years of experience in the oilfield services sector serving in a wide range of leadership roles in the US and internationally. Prior to joining the Yellowjacket team, he served as VP at American Gilsonite Company, VP of Sales & Marketing at Key Energy Services, and SVP of Operations at Foro Energy where he was responsible for the startup of Foro’s commercial operations. In 2003, he joined the Baker Hughes INTEQ division where he served in various leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations, including Wireline Operations VP for the US Land Region. In 1984, he began his career as a wireline field engineer with Schlumberger where he served in various roles of increasing responsibility in Operations, Sales and QHSE, including wireline operations leadership roles in the Gulf of Mexico and Latin America South GeoMarkets. Mr. Edwards holds an EMBA from Texas A&M University and attended Louisiana State University and the University of Louisiana, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.

Guy Roberts is our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who previously served as Controller since July 2020. Mr. Roberts has over 26 years of experience, holding multiple Controllership and CFO positions. Prior to joining the Yellowjacket team, his most recent role was as Senior Finance Director and Controller of the New Ventures Group at Patterson – UTI. His leadership experience in the oil and gas industry also includes the Integration team at Baker Hughes GE, the CFO position at the Global Chemicals Product line within Baker Hughes and numerous overseas assignments including the North Arabia CFO position overseeing both Finance and supply chain support functions for all product line offerings, based out of Saudi Arabia. Prior to this he was Controller of the N America Wireline division at Baker Hughes. He has served as Chemicals divisional Compliance manager, notably helping Baker Hughes meets SOX reporting standards. Mr. Roberts started out in Public accounting in North Wales and received his Accounting & Finance degree from the John Moores University of Liverpool and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Miranda Wright has served as our Director of Human Resources since January 2020. Prior to joining Yellowjacket, Ms. Wright was responsible for the Employee Relations and Learning & Development groups at Oasis Petroleum, where she counseled employees and the leadership team, conducted internal reviews and investigations, developed HR-related policy, maintained the Employee Handbook, and implemented company-wide systems and processes. Previously, Ms. Wright was a Compliance Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), where she provided technical assistance and audited federal contractors’ personnel actions to verify non-discrimination and regulatory compliance. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Industry Liaison Group (GHILG), a non-profit organization that encourages open communication between companies and government agencies such as OFCCP and the EEOC. Ms. Wright holds multiple HR certifications and is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Wright received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
